TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
