Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
